Florida church plans to burn Quran on 9/11 to Mark 9th anniversary

"We will burn Korans because we think it's time for Christians, for churches, for politicians to stand up and say no; Islam and Sharia law is not welcome in the U.S.

"We've got many death threats from jihad groups, but we cannot react by fear and we cannot compromise our beliefs. Somebody must stand up."

In my opinion, this action would only fuel hatred and will solve nothing. While the Quran might contain offensive language towards others who do not follow Islam and Sharia, the only effective way to combat this negativism is by spreading peace through the message of Christ.
That being said, it is a brave act but not the right one. I wouldn't be surprised of the death threats they mentioned.

I think Muslims should start a burn Bible /Torah day and Jews can start a burn Koran / New Testament day and soon the stupid Religious people have burned all each other books and the world can get rid of this nonsense books.

Note to religious people: Please do not forget to destroy the digital versions also and not only the hard copy versions.

 

People obviously don't want to solve anything and they're only fueling it by their actions. With that said, I'll just have to agree with gworld. Both sides should start burn holy-book-days until they've burned it all. Oh and don't forget ebook versions of 'em as well as digital versions. (sighs)

 

You gotta get rid of all the churches/mosques/synagogues and places like Mecca and Jerusalem too, remember.

 

There are millions of Muslims who know Quran by heart.

 

That church should be very careful too, I am sure if they do it the Islamic groups will definitely "KILL" the paster very soon.

 

Nobody forced you to go to a religious place. They do you no benefit and no harm.

For my post, it has the correct Facebook page URL in the quote. However, it highlighted the word "Facebook" outside the quote and is leading to some affiliate ID NOT MINE-(http://leadbolt.com/signup/?ref=10010640), I suppose for DP?

The links are DP's "Inline Contextual Ads". Time to start deliberately misspelling words i think. I don't like the idea of people thinking i am linking to sites within my posts when the links aren't differentiated from any other link. Is it not enough that we create the content for free without having the content we create edited and made to link to sites which could be considered a "source" to those reading it?
