Floating Adsense Ads?

    Hello,

    I'm sure this has been discussed many times but I still don't get a concrete answer about this.

    Are floating ads allowed by adsense for all publishers? I thought were only premium adsense publishers enjoying these.

    Take a look at http://9gag.com (notice the floating 300x250 ad when scrolling down)
    http://haber7.com (160x600)

    My friend, who isn't a premium publisher, has been using floating ads since early last year and never got banned or warned. He said, in fact, google is actually encouraging it.

    Please share your thoughts on this.

    yes i believe it is fine. as long as it is not pop ups or pop unders or anything else that is weird
    i believe floating like that is fine.
