I don't make a living flipping sites, but you can make money in many different ways flipping websites. I just recently sold a set of autoblogs that were only about 2 months old generating a small amount of affiliate income. It was not that hard............
If you have the cash, you are better off investing in a CLIP STORE and content then you are in flipping websites. From day one you are making money and getting a good ROI of both your time, and your money. Over time, as you learn some skill sets like SEO, manipulating SERPS and driving more targeted traffic you can expand your content to tube pay site(s), blogs, and other things. This is easily one of the best ways to not only make money from day one, but make sure you do not lose your start up capital. Flipping websites may have been magical back in the days when there was a good economy and a lot of people had money. I did it to some degree as well, although the sites I build are higher value and dollar. In the past 18+ months, you have fewer real buyers. This means you buy and build your sites, and you may have to sit on inventory for 90-180 days to unload the site. No matter the most magical of sales and traffic stats. People simply do not have the money. So then you have to consider lowering your price again and again to unload it. Cutting your profits. It is a shit business to be in with good economy. It is a terrible business to be in now. Unless you sell low yield junk sites to noobs for very small margins. Good luck.

I always heard that the adult market is one of the most successful and all, but you are the first person I communicate with involved. I read your post and it is very interesting and detailed. IF you can find a good website cheap then sure you'll make a profit if you make the site successful. The adult market might be good to get in to. CPALead are about to release an adult widget, I'm pretty sure suddenly Adult websites will be the next TV Show / Movie niche style site making a relatively good sum per day.
