Flipping websites is a great source of income. I have been flipping websites for over 3 years now, before this method became popular. The most expensive site I flipped was for $14,000 and the cheapest has probably been for a few $100 or so. There are 2 ways you can go about doing this. 1. Create A Site From Scratch, Then Flip 2. Buy An Existing Site, Fix Up (optional), Then Flip I have done both of the methods above, and I’ll explain each one to you. Method 1: Create A Site From Scratch, Then Flip This method is very easy, and doesn’t require much work at all. If you need to make a few $100 overnight, this is what you want to use. - Buy a domain name - Get hosting if you don’t already have it - Get some PLR articles - Install wordpress - Add adsense, affiliate links to info products, and eBay/Amazon links That’s basically a few hours or work, if not less if you work fast. You can resell a site like this for a few $100 easily. This can be turned into a real profitable business quickly. I like to outsource this work, get the site in my hands, and flip it. Then pay my outsource guy out of profits. Method 2: Buy An Existing Site, Fix Up (optional), Then Flip You must have some initial money to invest if you want to go with this method. You don’t need much though. I see sites going on eBay for $0.99 - $100. You simply buy 1 of these sites that you think you can resell. Or, do some research on what’s selling and what’s not. Purchase the site and fix it up if you want. Remember, fixing up the site will usually mean better profits at the end. Then flip! Where To Flip? There are a few places to flip sites: - Site Point: this place cost like $20+ or so to list a site, and should be used if you are flipping a higher end site. The people here know their stuff really well. - Digital Point: it doesn’t cost anything to list here, but the people here are looking for bargains and you won’t get as much for your site if you list here. - eBay: i don’t use eBay much for selling, but i use it for buying. You can buy sites for real cheap and sell them on 1 of the other 2 sites above. More Tips For More Profits To get the most for your site, trying adding a few things: 1. Monthly Revenue 2. Traffic 3. Email List 4. Page Rank Adding any one or all of the things above, will get your more profits. When people see that a site has the things above, it shows that it’s established and has potential.
Unless you're dealing with some "serious" websites, you probably won't make any serious cash. I would define "serious" as a website that brings in AT LEAST $100,000 a year in sales or profit.
These days, with domain names snatched up fast, like blue-eyed blondes with big tits, I'm afraid this method is not as easy as you are making it out to be. And that is just one problem that hasn't been addressed. But it is still a good, doeable idea.
Making a Wordpress site filled with PLR articles will not get you $100... Listed here it would get more like $10, so you'd be in the hole after the domain name and time spent on it... Otherwise it's a good idea
As more people figure this out in there head (or just read it here) the more populated this becomes. This drives the value of common websites like proxies way down, making flipping not really worth the time. Also, as Greg mentioned, you can't really expect any serious cash from this sadly.
who will buy site for 100$ with PLR content without any earning or trafic ? yeah need same effort to promote to get good price.
