Hey mates, I have a german community for catholic singles & friends with over 400 members. It generated $100/mo at the beginning (and would generate more, but my brother killed my Adsense account)...It's #1 on Google, Yahoo, Altavista, #2 on Bing and Ask. Should I publish it on Flippa or do you think nobody would buy it because its on german (sadly)? Cheers, Mario P. S. I don't have the time to work on it...
I don't see why it wouldn't sell on Flippa. I'm sure there's a market for a site like that especially since it's already established and has earnings.
I don't have experience with German sites myself, but I would think that there's still some Germans out there that would maybe want the site. Just try it out and see what happens. It's only $20 to list your site on Flippa so you don't have much to lose.
according to alexa, flippa is not very popular in Germany, you may get better success with sedo.de On another hand would you be interested in expanding your members base with this German marketing campaign http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1827170 ? You could also get you brother to create adsense account in his own name and give you rights to use it considering...
Germany is a very good internet market ;-) ...selling would not be so difficult if you have the correct price for it!
