    i am trying to sell a LLL.net domain name, anyone have a thought on which site is better, sedo or flippa. I would sell on DP, but appears DP has <$1000 domains, I would like 2500.

    flippa.com=website
    sedo=domain
    but some domains on sedo can get lost in the sea of millions of domains for sale so dont expect a instant sale but

    Unless the domain is featured on front page at sedo it wont worth much parking there, IMO flippa might be less expensive and effective too.

    From sedo and flippa you should use sedo, it is better for a domain market face to flippa

    Good luck

    If you're just selling one-off domains or sites, then spending time to find the site for that specific target may be good, but what I'm doing now is building up my rep on flippa, so I'll sell domains and sites and anything on it so that my rep will lead to bigger sales in the future. Also easier to focus a lot of effort on one site than to be a little fish on many sites...IMO

    me too, i use sedo, but using sedo needs to wait more time if you use standard market, but if you choose their promotion package,it will worth.

    Sedo is the best site to sell domains from, and Flippa is the best site to sell websites from. But if the domain is really good, endusers will contact you directly using your whois info. You could also consider Bido.

    I just sold my first domain with Flippa yesterday, the listing fee is quite high, but it sold high enough to cover the fees and give me enough to list another domain.

    I also put a bunch of old domains up on Sedo's regular listings, but I doubt they will get any action there.

    My aim is still to build up rep on Flippa, so I'll stick with it a bit longer and see if having a high rep helps.

    There really are so many crappy sites for sale on Flippa though, from n00b IM'ers... even if they aren't selling for a lot of money, for a 3rd world coder, they can make a living selling 5 sites a month @ $100+ a pop.

    The deleting comments thing is really awful though... some better moderation to keep out the riff raff would be nice...
