The whole concept of customer loyalty is interesting though. If service "A" matches "B" on every count except price will the online community stay loyal?

The big challenge is ensuring that you do have "every count" covered and that includes traffic and sales volume as well as dispute resolution and sales price. Not much point in getting a sale through your site for less. That $10 saving might be a false economy if I can get another $100 through "B".
