The T-Shirt was only stating the truth.

He should have got a free upgrade to First Class for wearing it. :)

I agree you made a fuss out of nothing. I also agree that if the shirt had said something like:

you wouldn't have made a fuss at all.

    Get over it

Mossadegh mossadegh oh what a great man
Cared for his country was a peaceful man
Then one day came a power
to take his oil but he wouldnt cower.
For they came in the name of democracy and freedom
Little did he know they wanted his oil and to cheetum.
His bravery was rewarded with a coup
then came the puppet shah and his brew crew.
the people felt cheated and turned to extremists.
Oh how different iran might be today
    If we just werent meddlers
But we had to try to take their oil
    like some common thief peddlers:(

and par for the course for the moonbats...you get your tail handed to you and you change the subject...figures...

Good for the airline to kick the guy off. It is there right and freedom to run their business how they want. And no, they shouldn't be fined to taken to court...that just takes away their freedom...excuse me while I go put on my "Bush is the man" t-shirt.

I asked a question earlier, no one responded...

If the airline should be able to run their business how ever they want, should they then be allowed to say that we won't give service to a certain race anymore? - I guess it's their freedom to do whatever they wana do, ha? lol

Its not a matter of how easy it is to do what they want you to do...

Based on d16man's argument, the airline should be allowed to run their business however they want. Well, that is wrong.

There are laws in place. For example an airline can not refuse service to a person because of their race. It is exactly the same with freedom.

Yes, it was easy for that man to take his tshirt off and get on the plane, but do you really not see the big picture here?

What would happen if every business started not offering service to people who are against the government's policies and express themselves?

The problem is not with T-shirt or how easy it is to take it off. The problem is with discrimination based on some one opinion and limiting a form of free speech. If they want to be correct about this then they should have a regulation that no passenger is allowed in the plane with a clothes that have a political message. They should deny a passenger no matter if the T-shirt message is that Bush is a terrorist or he is the best guy in the world.
Companies have the right to conduct their business as they wish as long as it is not a discrimination against one group.

Discrimination is not a problem here as I said. You can be not allowed to enter a nightclub for having an offensive t-shirt. He can keep his opinion as much as he want, the only thing the Qanta demanded was like "If you travel with us, you have to not show yourself in your shirt for the other passengers onboard". He could simply take it on again after the flight. Not a big deal at all.

And your both missing the point, this guy was more interesting in wearing his shirt than get on the flight. He has also been warned before. He's probably satisfied with the result that it came out in the news.

In your opinion, do you think he would have been permitted to enter the plane if his T-shirt said, I love Bush? If he could then it is discrimination, if not then it is a policy about clothes. ;)

Heck yeah people can run a business like they want...take the NAACP for example...they say "no whites allowed"....oh but wait, they support liberals, therefore it must be ok...

Good thing you are not running the government...

Seriously, what masters are you studying for? ( I recall you saying you are 26 years old doing master degree)... I feel sad that a supposedly educated person thinks like that.
