Even if I didn't believe the government was involved with 911, how long did it take them to make a Pearl Harbor movie after it happened? 911 was less than 5 years ago, and Hollywood is already making a stinking film about it. They are just pieces of trash who want to profit from the death of thousands of people. And it will be a propaganda film anyway. Unlike Loose Change, Flight 93 will not question the official story. In fact, if you go to the website, people who are challenging the official story are having their threads and posts removed as "inappropriate." So much for free speech.
On history channel they had a timeline of flight 11, and they re-acted the events. With a lot of documents and recordings...it was intense.
At the time, I worked on the 82nd Floor, Sears Tower. Ground floor, military zone, cement barricades, intense screening to get into the building. 82nd Floor, looking out over Lake Michigan, military jets circling. Every time a passenger jet flies by, you wonder. Another paradigm.
All I have to say about flight 93 is thank god a good dozen of our citizens chose to do more than our government to stop these planes. Atleast somebody was fighting terrorists that day.
Interesting Cyrus, you actually acknowledge terrorists were responsible. Some people go to great lengths to protect (support) terrorists by suggesting it was anyone but terrorists. And not just with 9/11 either. Even alex jones thought it was terrorists, before he recognized the earning potential of marketing altered reality to young angry white males with low IQs: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=527619&postcount=217
It opened in a floppy third place! I went to the movies last night, but I was catching Hard Candy. Talk about twisted!
Floppy? The real numbers will be out Monday. Of course, you already know this from the source on Drudge, but honesty and integrity are not important. Third place is excellent, considering the competition. The overall estimated numbers are impressive! I bet alex jones went to see it too
Half truths are not becoming of you yo-yo, but typical. I haven't seen the movie, but be serious about the numbers as of right now 1 RV - 3639 screens. 4.5 million dollars. 2 Stick It - 2038 screens 4 million dollars 3 Flight 93 - 1795 screens 3.7 million dollars taking the per screen average, u93 gets $2k per screen, RV has only $1300 per screen, and stick it gets a little less than $2k per screen. Who is really #1? RV - because of wider distribution? I'd hardly call the movie a flop, I'm more surprised that its #3 by only showing on 1/2 the screens of the #1 movie.
Why are they making a movie about it? I already saw it in the Science Channel/Discovery... was a premiere, the same thing...
You know its got terrible reviews, but me and girlfriend really liked it, not too much character development, but the monsters and the town are great. I thought it was a really fun horror flick. Don't think its going to win any academy awards though.
It's kinda hard to take anything you say seriously with that silly avatar and goofy signature tag line.
