Hey...sly24 bid after the 8 hours was up. Bidding should've ended at 9:37 pm but he bid at 9:46pm :( I should have the highest bid.

Well..rules are not followed here...I guess "coathanger007" is the winner ..and "sly24" has bidded quite late of your stipulated 8 hours from the time you edited. Even if "sly24" has bidded in pm, that should be technically wrong.

As you said "sly24" has technically won this....I don't understand how any bid which has been placed in pm is accepted in a auction?

    my sympathy to "coathanger007"

Bids should never be accepted by PM for 2 reasons.

Firstly, no one had the opportunity to outbid sly24 as his bid was hidden and his reply in the thread was posted after bidding had ended.
Secondly, no one can verify the PM other than the Admin.

I feel ripped. The right thing to do is get a refund and redo the auction.

This is not the first auction that offers private bids.

and as told by the seller. he told me to post the bid. i posted and no one outbidded.

there was enough time if there was interest. just like you posted after the it was sold.

    it belongs to me.
