I'm building a Wordpress driven website that displays my photography. I really like the presentation of a flash based gallery generated by Slideshow Pro - it's top class! Now I know that search engine crawlers don't know how to recognize flash content, at least not very well. That is why I had the idea of using Flickr's Media RSS to drive content to the Slideshow Pro embedded into the pages of my website. I also like the fact that Flickr is widely popular among social networking websites. Anyway, How would this setup effect my site's ranking? I would prefer the traffic to be directed to my main website. Thanks for your help. Maybe you can suggest a better alternate to what I have thought of. -Alexander
The other solution I'm consider it to create the RSS feed directly from my website and use that to pump images into the Flash gallery. Would that be better for SEO?
