Flatfile Blog Platform?

    I'd love to be able to install a flat-file CMS or blog script. any idea for one?

    I prefer wordPress for all of my blogs but i've got some hosting minus a database, but I want a blog on this server... and I can't seem to get a remote connection to one of my other servers...


    any ideas?

    Why not just blog-by-email, and setup a script to e-mail wordpress your flat files?

    that's the thing, I can't get wordpress installed, because the server I need it on doesn't have database connectivity.... and I can't seem to get the setting right to make it remotely connect to my server that has a databases...

    If you can't put ANY database on your server, you probably need to switch servers. You don't need to use mySQL ... you could always use PostgreSQL or something similar.

    PHP/MySQL hosting is so cheap now, that you'd be better off just finding a decent host instead
