Just had a look at the source code. The coder has given different span ids to each phrase, showing them in given short time intervals using js, which creates the flashing feeling. The show ends with the adsense code. Nice idea, creative&impressive indeed.

Maybe questionable? I thought publishers like this one were "tricky", in "your world", aeiouy:

If this sites has enough traffic , it will earn well, altough alot of people will steal his idea I think :( , if it's not against TOS

the current version might be considered to break the TOS but i think a milder version might be OK. maybe a cute little cartoon first followed by an ad? i think that would be cool....we do run dynamic sites after all and there is nothing in the TOS i can see that says an ad must appear as soon as the page loads...in any case..there is always a google-caused delay in serving the ad...

There is no evidence that this is the least bit effective or leads to increased click-thrus. Some people here speculate it does... Personally I don't see it.. I find it annoying and wanted to flee the page as quickly as possible.

Placing images near ads has proven to increase click through rate.

I could put a giant space ship on my web page, but that doesn't mean I am trying to influence adsense clicks. Ultimately it is about the results, not the intent.

I'd love to hear thoughts about this from ASA...

No need to hear from ASA, it seems like they took it off already but they're still violating TOS by labeling the ads.
