Not sure about the ranking, but the coolest design I have ever seen: http://thekhz.com/ (click on "enter full experience" on the right side)
Almost all of the official movie sites are flash based and they mostly ranked no.1 in search engine for their movie names (sometimes below IMDB).
Well Flash sites dont rank really good most of the times, except if they cloak, like Macromedia used to do (Maybe still does) But if you want a Flash site to rank well, get related IBLs in huge quantity, META tags of course and reputation (idk if that matters but what the hell) IT
flash has no bearing on it whatsoever i do SEO and have been doing this since 95, however having said that make sure it loads quick or no matter how good it ranks your going to lose surfers it it does not load fast
Bottom line: With a 100% flash site, you are going to HAVE to have more BL and IBL than your competitor. What this means is == competitive disadvantage. I personally like the look of flash sites, but prefer to simply use elements rather than 100%. a) loads faster and b) performs better SEO wise. The most beautiful flash site is worth squat if it cannot be seen. IMHO Eric
hmmm...I see the point...flash websites must not have alot of "real" text...so what...is it their keywords?
www.kasbah.com.hk is ranked #5 in Yahoo! for "hong kong restaurant" and #19 in Google, #51 in MSN. It has a PageRank of 8.
