flash video on html page

i will have a html page and in it i need to have a video playing

i want to make this a flash video.

does anyone know any good tutorials to turn avis into flash movies and how to show on page?

you will need atleast macromedia flash 2004 MX (flash 7) to do this.

its not hard. import your video into macromedia and then out put it as a .swf, then just use the

<embed width="xxx" height="xxx" src="xxx.swf"><noembed>Flash Player Required</noembed>

code to embed, replacing the 'xxx' with the desired width, height and the name and location of your .swf

I shot the video using a green screen and the actor in .avi format and then follwed my instructions above, adding a preloader.

Don't use the EMBED element.
