I have a site that uses a flash banner at the top of every page, it looks nice and adds to the page. The owner of the site doesn't want to take it off either. Currently we're using javascript to serve an static .gif image if a user doesn't have flash installed. The javascript tests if the flash can be opened, and if it can it writes the document with various <param> tags to display the flash. I would like to add in <noimbed> tags to this for search engines, will the parse the text written by the js? If not is there a better way to do this?
