flash .swf video won't auto play when embedded in site

why won't this play when i embed it into a html page? it's supposed to be playing but there is no sound.

it plays fine when directly linked. the code i use is:

yup, everything is in one folder. and the links to the songs are full (http://www.mysite.com/song.mp3)
