Hey I’m thinking of creating a flash site to display my flash games as well as others. I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience with this type of thing. Is their money to be made on these type of endeavors or is it purely for hobby purposes ? I’ve included some of the games I plan to host on my site including ones I myself have made and those others have made which I enjoyed. If you have time I’d appreciate it if you where to check them out. I wouldn’t tell you which ones are mine yet, I want to see if mine are up to par with the others. Thanks in advance, Endless http://www.filegone.com/z92t (King Of The Hill) http://www.filegone.com/b0iu ( Extreme Snake) http://www.filegone.com/xdlb ( Racing Game) http://www.filegone.com/tuq5 (Dancing Hillary) http://www.filegone.com/6pu8 (Kill Bin Laden)
You can start off http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=32697 with buying a dbase of flashgames. I'm not really sure if it makes money. Btw I believe the links are supposed to be in you sig.. And if you're wondering why it isn't working check the forums FAQ about sigs
I think that online flash games have great potential. The supply in the gaming industry is huge, and the quality of many games have suffered in recent years. I believe there is a lot of money to made in creating games on the internet. People could pay a small monthly membership to play unlimited games on your site. Perhaps you could expand and create online multiplayer games.
