Flash Player Question

I was looking around a thread on another forum and I noticed using a sub-domain for tracking will increase Alexa rank (no that it matters)

Now the tracking system is obviously a code put into another site via javascript.

Is there a way to do this via a flash player? for example:

    http://tracking.site.com/video?v=439289d

Does anyone know if there is any truth to this and or possible?

I'm sure there is a way to do it with Flash - Especially with new actionscript freedoms in the latest installments of Flash (CS3 and CS4 to be exact). To be honest, I'm not really sure to the exact scope you're talking about but if I understand correctly, it seems highly possible - If Lee Brimelow can connect Flash with PHP, MySQL and Javascript via actionscript... This definitely should be up the same alley (or so it seems). I am not sure if you are familiar with him but if you google "gotoandlearn" his website of Flash tutorials will currently pop up first on list. On that website he has a tutorial explaining how to connect PHP/MySQL/Etc. to Flash... Or vice-versa, I can't remember exactly how it works.

Wow, I never knew using sub-domains for tracking will increase ranking on Alexa! If that is true... That is great! I suppose it does make sense.

    Hope you find your solution!
