Flash image help

    ok not sure this would be the best place for this but here it go's
    i recently been hired to design a website for a friend and i'm stuck in one area that he asked me to do for him i did something like this a few years back but forgot how.

    i need to setup an image fade one picture would fade in another would fade out and keep doing this with alot more picture's after words like a fade gallery if someone could help me with this it would be much appriciated.

    i'm not looking to buy or sell anything i am asking for advice on how to create it my self. like i was saying i made what i'm looking for a few years back but forgot how to do it as i lost all the stuff i had used for it. if anyone has any advice on how to create said flash image fader let me know

    Hey,

    Just google for "flash image rotator tutorial", there are quite a few and it's not that hard.

    Here is one:

    You can get rid of the blur if you don't want it ;-)

    You could just grab a ready made one from http://www.ffiles.com/flash/photo_galleries/

    They're free to use

    Basically what you'll need to do to make one yourself is create an empty movieclip to hold the images. Then just have your empty movie clip load the images into itself using the loadMovie method, wait for a set time (create a timer or interval function for this) then fade the alpha property of the movieclip. When the alpha reaches zero tell flash to delete that image from the stage, reset the alpha and load the next image in.

    thanks guys i got it done what i needed to do. and my client is now very happy i hate getting stuck and half to ask for help but i guess thats what happens when you don't practice something after a long period of time
