I've found a good tutorial on loading external text into a flash file, but does anyone here know how to make it copy-proof, so it can't be selected?

    thanks

when you create a textbox in flash there's a little button in the properties bar (usually at the bottom of the screen)
it says Ab and the b is selected. on the left of the "Var:" and on the right of the "Single line/Multi line" combo box. make sure it's unselected and then nobody will be able to select your text box
