Flash Development

    I cannot afford buying Flash Professional right now. What are my free options for commercial Flash production? I have worked with Macromedia Flash for over a year.

    You could use FlashDevelop, but that is pure OOP coding in AS3, however it does compile a swf too.

    If you want to stick to procedural coding with tools and stage available as in Flash 8, there is no alternatives to Flash CS3/CS4 I'm afraid.

    But the future is AS3 and OOP, so you might as well get into it. FlashDevelop has an much better coding environment than the Flash IDE, but again, don't expect any stage visuals, it's all about classes and OOP.

    You can use this Flash WYSIWYG design software for free upto 14 days . Thats nice to create slideshows, Advertisements etc.
