Mr Media, I have completed enough jobs here and elsewhere for a lot of people to know I'm not a scammer nor a newbie. Since you chose to make this public, let's go: You originally ordered 4 Flash applications at $100 each, plus incorporating them into your site, as well as some basic design changes for an extra $200. Since then, you added an extra Flash application at the same cost for a total of $700. The 5 Flash applications are now completed and you did agree with the final design. When we moved on to the site itself, you came up with some sort of script bought on the web with files having extension .tpl, which I never heard of. You never mentioned your script was bought through Jamroom, and that there was not even an interface or control panel to edit it. It would have been HTML, all of this would be finished by now. Your exact words were: "just edit the script and see what it does", and you're calling me a newbie! Well I gave it a go but couldn't even manage to insert a Flash movie. To conclude, I have told you to deduct the cost originally planned for the design ($200), and just pay for the Flash applications, and you are calling me a scammer. I have spent a lot of time on these applications and you were 100% satisfied with them. You will pay for them, and you still have your $200 to get someone to incorporate them to your site and change a few buttons. If anyone is familiar with .tpl templates/script and wants $200, contact me or him so we get this s£$%t over with!
hello, man you are missing some things : 1-i ordred 5 flash applications and website and theme design for 700usd, how can you say that the whole website (15+pages)and theme (10+pages) design wich ll take you many days present only 200usd and the 5 simple applications wich taked you some hours are for 500usd...??? if so, i just keep the project and you ll do the complete job and ll pay you the rest 400usd, you ll do all designs job and the applications integrations in the website. 2- you are a scammer, as you promised people what you can't do, you have no knowledge on basic php and html, the.tpl are simple html php codes, wich i edited many times beford..., also when you are so newbie why do you taked money and promise to integrate your applications and design the whole website?? wich you review it beford starting work on your applications.... Well it seems my friend got banned, but it is pretty sad as I would have liked not to have this rubbish associated to my name. I think there's a really good spirit here, I have done good business with good people, but I'm also helping people for the sake of being part of a community, and I suppose it is only life that we now and again have to face some monkeys, and I suppose it is like you live, you learn.... So as a closing point to this thread that I'm hopefully going to enjoy see rot and go at the bottom of the list: Make sure you get everything in writing and keep all your correspondances/emails with your buyer/seller. Thankfully, 99% of people are trustfull, but in case you meet the other 5% and you are honest, then you will be fine.
