Hi guys, I have problem exporting to my animation to an animated gif.

I've google the solution and followed the instructions by ticking GIF and ANIMATED option (instead of static) in my Publish Settings. And all it does, is just give me 2 different frames.

After the demise of Flash, it seems that I can't really use SWF in my projects hence I'm looking for an alternative by still able to use my proficient Flash skills to create easy animation and export it as gif. Help anyone?

To export animated gif all your animation should be in the main timeline without using movieclips. If you use movieclips on main time line, export the animation to image sequence. place each image on different layers in photoshop and create the animated gif through the classic way.

Check your timeline keyframes, Frame Rate. Because if it have only one or two frames in time line, animated gif does not have a time to animate. Also if you are use 24 frame per second you need many keyframes .So use 12 frame per second . Change this settings in document properties. Do not use movie clip or graphic format make every objects and animations in keyframe animation and also make every single object in different layers.

Use File -> Export -> Export Movie -> Animated Gif settings.

Awww, so you can't use the animation platform of Flash after all. You have to do key by key frames... I thought I could use my skills in Flash to easy animate stuffs then port over and using it in a HTML document.
