I'm currently building a website that uses a DHTML dropdown menu. The background behind the menu is a regualr jpg. What I whould like to do is replace the underlying jpg with a flash movie - in order to make the site look better. The problem is that when I replace the jpg with a flash movie, the flash always appears on the top layer - there doesn't seem to be a way for me to have the DHTML dropdown menu appear over the flash. There are probably some ways I could get around this like use an animated gif instead of the flash movie or maybe I could incorporate the dropdown into the falsh movie. However, I'm not very pleased with any of these solutions. Has anyone encoutered such a problem? Any suggestions?
