    I has a hard time finding examples of their effect, that's why I decided to make this post. The new blending modes in flash 8 pro are a very worthwhile when you work a lot with photography, an example of this new addition can be found here:

    Flash can apply these to any individual movie clip you make! Very similar to changing the blending modes of layers in photoshop...
