Flash 8 animation on site - must click it?

    Hi,

My site: www.drmixology.com ... I created a little flash animation on the main page. At the end, some buttons show. In order for someone to click a button, they must first click the animation (to "activate use of this control"). How do I avoid this? I think it's annoying ya have to click it first...

Sounds stupid... but is there a workaround, or some code snippet I can add to my page?

This only happens in IE because MS lost a patent issue on embedded media with EOLAS. They have licensed the ability now, but will be a while until the new IE versions work again.

Until then you can use Javascript to write the embed/object tags and all works well. Flash 9 does this automatically. I thought 8 did as well. If not, search Google for flashobject.js.

Yeah, i did use embed code. If you see on the site, it's just that you have to click it once first to be able to click the buttons. Is this what you mean?
