I have paid money on sitepoint scriptlance and multiple other places trying to find someone that actually knows how to take a document (functionality list) and an already designed PSD file and turning it into a final product. I have been scammed by about 4 programmers. None of the coders work as promised or they don't speak English or have a hard time understanding anything and don't do quality work. Does anyone know where i can find people that are quick and dependable that don't charge out the arse and that can take an idea and actually turn it into a functioning website?
Digital Point is good, or so I heard, be sure to have a look at a user's iTrader rating/comments, those usually tell you how reliable and how well known the user is on digital point.
I'm professional, but the business I run (http://codepress.co.uk) is by no means cheap (£199 for a page/£99 for subsequent - negotiable on larger sites). HTML/CSS development is a hard skill to get good at and most people would rather not bother with excellent browser support, good quality code and have a strong passion for the web! I've had excellent clients from here and my work covers sites on international fashion brands, magazines, government websites and the forward thinking business people.
