I just noticed the flag blog button today while cruising through some blogs. Has it always been there and I've just never noticed or is it somewhat new?

I have no idea...I swear it wasn't there yesterday.

I know I just flagged about 50 blogs though:)

If this is new I wonder if it makes a dent in blog spam...even a little one?

LOL, just be careful blogger don't do you for blog spam flag spamming  ;)

Interesting that they refer to it as a mechanism to "unlist" a blog... what if there's a single tongue-in-cheek post and that triggers readers to hit the flag button? A whole blog "unlisted" 'cos of some sarcasm? It'll be interesting to see what transpires... especially in the sensitivity/Political Correctness of the blog community...

    Keep us posted huh? :)

By unlisting it looks like they just mean they'll take it out of the "next blog" rotation on the blogger bar. They probably say it better than I do:)

Hmm, definately could be handy for those "next blog" button pushes... I know it's drifting off topic a llittle here but whilst sniffin 'round blogger just noticed they do a blogger-for-Word plug-in... Hmmm *rubs chin*

I saw that earlier this week. I suppose it would be useful if you wanted to blog at work...afterall, it would look like you were working:)

LOL. I'm still curious as to whether this (the flag) feature is new or not. I've looked around for more info but haven't been able to come up with anything so far.

Edit:, ok I found this so it looks like it is a new feature.

I was pretty shocked to see that almost 1 out of 3 blogs was nothing but pure spam. I was only expecting it to be 1 out of 5:)
