I was wanting to put this out there to see if anyone else is having this happen. The past few weeks I have been seeing my numbers throughout the day move around on adsense. I will check my account for one of my smaller websites and I will have had 4 clicks for 70 cents total. Throughout the day it is fine and clear until 1-2am it is still at 70 cents. I understand click fraud which google takes care of usually within an hour or two after the clicks are made. The next day when I will check my total for the website for the day before I was still at 4 clicks but only 17 cents. I have been seeing a pattern of this recently and it kind of disturbs me because you would think if it were click fraud it would be taken care of during the day not the next day where you have to click back to see it. Anyone else having this happen?
hey this is strange, do google decrease some money from you account, voila i did not noticed this thing, i will check it for my account and will update you if i see the similar thing. Thanks for starting this thread mate...
I just thought it was weird policy to not fix the click fraud in real time but to wait until it goes to the next page where many people may not check during that day. Also the clicks were more than likely not fraud through that website because the 4 clicks were throughout the day not all 4 at one time. So who knows really wanted to let people know about this to check your own accounts and to see if anyone else has been seeing this same pattern.
weird, never had it happen to me before, but I do think it's due to unproductive clicks getting discounted
