Recently i moved my website - FairytailEpisode.com - From one webhost to another. after changing my dns setting last week to connect to the new server i have just noticed that most people that go to my domain are still going to the old server. The domain is hosten on name.com it uses the name.com name servers and only aims at the single ip, which is for the new host. I need someone to find out why this is happening and to solv it as i need to have it done tonite as im leaving for london tomorrow. a parked domain www.watchfairytail.info is linked to th server that the main domain is linked too and shows the site correctly. I will give $5 to anyone that manages to help me fix this issue and get the domain only sending people to the new server. Thank you
DNS is the biggest challenge for local ISP's. They cache it and that's the whole problem. Till your old server pinging and responding to DNS, the cache will not be forced to refresh. You need to stop DNS service at your old server if that is still running, not necessarily that you should stop Web Server, you can keep that running.
