Hello, I'm looking for alternatives to Clicktale/Ghost/Userfly. I have been trying these to find out the best way to record videos of my website visitors. This way i can see if there are any problems with my designs. Clicktale.com - Expensive, but pretty good with heatmaps. Free account only allows 2 page views. Ghost.eemt.se - Best one yet. Works on user logged in sites. Very cheap, and good free account. Userfly.com - Like Ghost, but more expensive and works less good. Crazyegg.com - Only heatmaps. Anyone has any other alternative i can try?
Clicktale and Userfly are the most popular ones that I know of as you mentioned. The following aren't all video screen recorders but similar usability testing services: feedbackarmy.com usertesting.com fivesecondtest.com conceptfeedback.com userlytics.com loop11.com If you find any more good ones for free or cheap let me know, they're hard to find.
Hi, Mouseflow.com must be the best alternative to ClickTale and Userfly. The feature set is comparable to that of ClickTale (visitor recording, video playback, heatmap analysis, etc), and the pricing is much lower. The free plan gives 100 recordings per month. If it's not totally obvious I'm affiliated with Mouseflow. But do give it a try Lasse
