My name is Canadian Spike and i am the chief executive officer of the 7 years old dark-hack.net security portal, i work as a professional security advisor and for the last 11 years i am mostly interested in hardcore programming languages in both web and application fields but from time to time i receive a challenging freelancing web project and by accepting it, i end up learning something new that's why i always accept such projects, hostnator.net is my latest project and it's a from scratch engine wrote in 7 programming languages, xhtml and css valid and almost cross browser compatible, i suppose to officially deliver this project in the next 7 days and i am stuck with facebox which is a jquery plugin 1) Facebox window don't come centered by default that's why i added a small fix which calculates page dimensions and divide them by 2 to have a perfectly centered facebox window. Problem: some pages come out centered and others don't, at least for the first time. Example: on the main page click on the more button located in shared hosting block or reseller hosting block, the window won't come out centered "floated right" in the first time, now close the window and click again on the same button to see it's centered, why is this happening ? 2) I wrote custom .css files to handle the whole engine in case of MSIE7 and for MSIE6 i believe i will stop supporting it and redirect it's users to a friendly upgrade page. Problem: a theme breakage in opera and ie7 located specially near facebox buttons. Example: browse the website in question using ie7 or opera and look at the more button located in shared hosting block and reseller hosting block surrounded area, navigate to solutions or services and see how the buttons are floated 5px away from their original location, any ideas ? Hostnator is a fast growing and one of the largest providers in the middle east, they already offered me a free of charge web hosting for whole year so i could try their service and maybe later upgrade with them [marketing trick] but i was too smart, i accepted their pre-paid package and ordered 10GB reseller for my security portal [that's why dark-hack is down since i am writing a new engine for it and moving servers].
