I quite often use the website called fiverr I have genuinely found this useful for getting small projects done. I normally leave feedback which has always been good up till now. The person I was using was a top rated seller and had about 800 plus thumbs up and 3 thumbs down, which is a very positive sign, what surprised me was that fiverr refunded my money and then took my negative feedback down, which in my mind makes the feedback a total waste of time. As I mentioned my experience with fiverr has been very good, just surprised they took my feedback down, I am interested on other peoples experiences. Thanks for reading!
I have done quite lot of shopping there, mostly for "fun stuff" and from buyer's side I have experienced that the negative feedback is a bit neglected. It is like - out of 10 - 1 purchase will be the bad apple and I will not be able to do anything about it. Regarding your issue - maybe they are protective about their topsellers.
Good way to make money on fiverr is to set up aload of accounts 10 accounts + 20 gigs = 200gigs.1% conversion = $10 a day$300 a day.enjoy.
I agree with you roywebservice. I had good experience with most of the fiverr service and a couple of bad ones. For some reason the bad seller had good feedbacks and i truly think that bad feedbacks were just removed.I think it is misleading to buyers
Thank you for all your replies, I have found fiverr to be a great service for those small jobs that you don't want to do, I admit that there are a lot of pointless gigs on their site, but for small jobs it can be really useful.
Thank you for your reply, and, yes I couldn't agree with you more, the idea of feedback is to get a true reflection of the service, definitely very misleading to buyers and very false.
i run gigs on fiverr and also do some shopping of my own in there. So far i can say that i haven't had any problems. I always try to hire people with high ratings, though often times the gigs i am interested have sometimes no ratings
$5 is $5 but I would agree with ApocalypseXL, its not a place to conduct business. Its great for the quick jobs.
Giving your money back doesn't give back your wasted time. It would seem that, unless their terms and conditions say that that can refund your money and erase a negative feedback, it seems like doing so is something bordering on, if not outright, fraud. It is fraud in the inducement as they are basically tricking the next person to buy from that same user due to the fact they bought back the negative review by refunding your money. If you wanted, you could say you want to keep your negative review and they can keep their money and see what they respond. Perhaps they are thinking that they would rather lose $5 to you but keep a seller who is making them a lot of money clean so they can continue to get their cut. Of course, they would be committing a fraud in doing so.
fiverr has been awesome for me, no problems with it except the $1 fee they charge !! ...so you actually end up getting $4 instead of $5
I found some gigs of fiverr can be very helpful and some are not. I rarely use fiverr and no bad experience so far.
Fiverr is great for finding some good deals, maybe they felt that your negative feedback was unwarranted giving the status of the seller
I have had experience selling some things on Fiverr, made about $20. Nothing major but kind of interesting and fun.
