I've currently set my goal of making a sale a day with Fiverr. The trouble is, I have no idea where to start. What gigs should I do How do I promote gigs?
Check out how many people she has in queue: http://fiverr.com/viviann29/give-yo...ity-twitter-followers-deliver-within-24-hours Browse fiverr and see what gigs are in demand. Once you know what is in demand it will give you an idea what you can push. Or... if you have personal talents that people may find likeable, you can try them out as well.
you can earn money on fiverr great advices. totally agree, think out of the box and stand out from the crowd. the only way to succeed in fiverr is to think differently. too much competition. you can always use other sites like fiverr (with less competition), fiverr is not the only one dude

Nonsense. Their is a fortune to be made on Fiverr if you are able to become a top rated seller, get featured and drive masses of buyers to your gigs. It`s a numbers game and all about volume. If a seller can generate 50 orders a day (some sellers have several hundred jobs in their queues) this in itself is $200 daily (after the $1 fee to Fiverr per order) and this doesn`t even include the Extras which is how some of the big sellers are really maximising their revenue. The Fiverr business model is incredible because it fits perfectly into a world that is suffering from mass recession.
Agreed! I've never been a seller on Fiverr - but I know some people use Fiverr as advertising... they get a customer with a low-priced gig - then 'upgrade' em later on... Same idea with Ebay... anyplace where there's a lot of traffic, you can use to make money. Yes, sometimes it takes a little thinking 'outside the box' - but anytime there's a service or product, you can earn from it. Find a service that you can automate, or do very quickly - and you can make nice money on Fiverr...
I agree, there is money to be made in Fiverr, it is just a matter of working your way up the ranks to be a top rated seller. I do quite like their recent re-design!
Answer to your question: What gigs should I do? You should do what you can and there's a demand in the market for that. Answer to your question: How do I promote gigs? Use the king 4 - youtube, twitter, google+ and facebook. Bookmark your gig and use your gig's url in the forums you participate. These will help your fiverr business to get momentum. All the best!
I'm beginning to think the same thing. I sold a few copies of my game on there, but it's more lucrative to just sell on FGL or elsewhere for me. I've found that if you are not a cute girl, preferably Asian (and I don't blame them, as I'd be on the first plane to Taiwan if I weren't a Black guy), you are going to have a harder time selling gigs on Fiverr.
Well you can make money on fiverr by offering the services that you can do. i.e, article writing, graphics, followers, link building etc however, one of the other way is arbitrage. Copy the gigs offered on fiverr (change image and text into your language) and start selling them on other sites recommended by Mark Berger. You can sell $5 fiverr gigs for $10+ on those sites. I have tried this method and made a good money out of it. Yes you need to have some money in your pocket to place the order on fiverr once you receive the order from other sites. In addition the most sold gigs by me was the combination of two different gigs in one i.e, Twitter + Fanpage Followers etc. It will cost you $10 on fiverr and you can easily sell them on other site for $15 - $25. You can mix similar types of gigs and offer them. It will take one time efforts of posting the gigs on different sites and some money. That's it. Try it and you will make money of it. Good Luck.
Pretty good tactic, mikefilasaime. Makes perfect sense to resell services, but you have to be careful that the original gig isn't discovered on Fiverr, otherwise, you may lose your credibility and will but cut out as a middleman.
@ViolentAJ: Yes, that why I told to change the language of Gig description and image. Just mange an exl sheet for yourself to see which gig you are coping (it url) from fiverr. & also copy the url of the new gig created by you on other sites so that you don't get messed up with thing (I made such mistaken in starting - copied the gig but forgot the original gig url or title). With every two gigs combo you can save $2.5 + on very gig.
Try a gig you feel you are best at -- and that will take you fairly quick to do. There are hundreds of gigs ranging from videos, writing articles, to holding signs. To get more exposure -- simply promote you gig all throughout the internet. You can do this with Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Forums, SEO, Blog commenting, etc etc. Hope this helps
I do agree with you. I sell in both the site, Fiverr and SEOClerks, but I know SEOClerks is much much better than Fiverr. As a seller I face many limitations in fiverr whereas SEOClerks is much more seller friendly.
You should build a website as a turnkey business and have a link or a email list and link it to your fiverr gig. If you don't want to do that, create a video because it gives you a 200% better chance of landing a sell.
