<Times>said:"On the evening of Nov. 15, President Barack Obama begins his first visit to China. If the U.S. were to ask the Chinese what it could learn from their example, it might gain some insight into what it's doing right and wrong. Here are five lessons from China's success story" 1. Be Ambitious 2. Education Matters 3ã€Look After the Elderly 4ã€Save More 5. Look over the Horizon What do you think about this article?I think we must learn about "save more".For example,if I want to buy a electronic gifts for Christmas ,such as GPS,I would go to the Amazon or New Egg,it probably needs to close to 200 USD.But no one thought that it may be more cheap in other places.Like this, the Chinese will not do.I have heard that Chinese people are used to compare prices in different stores and choose the most cheap one finally. But I found the rise of sites such as Sinamalls.com and DX in recent years to prove that Americans are changing,We are more and more choose suitable cheap goods for us.This is a good thing!
6. Beat Tibetan monks to death 7. Skin dogs to make cheap fur trinkets 8. Force muslims to eat on ramadan fast 9. Persecute Christians 10. Imprison anyone who disagrees
11. Kill children as they are born if they above the quota. 12. Never put a dollar out to help a foreign nation 13. Never share the costs of hindering rogue states, even if they are your next door neighbor and you are concerned about their growing nuclear arsenal(N. Korea). If the US could go completely isolationist before China truly solidifies it's middle class, most of the planet would go into an indefinite recession/depression. Happy days.
hello there is no need to learn from china as they already known before but the both countries missing spirituality ..if they learn meditation so we could build a better society
I think you are missing the point. Save means to put money in the point. Not to go out and buy electronic devices that you don't need for a few dollars less. Btw, China is part of the problem and not the solution. They send the US cheap consumer goods that end up in garbage and fund US over consumption by loaning the US trillions of dollars.
The thing about elders and respecting ancestors and taking care of them i do not agree on. That is where americans are different. After graduation from college or High School, we tend to stray off on our own. however all the other points are valid.
There is a difference between an investment (buying US treasuries) and a charitable gift. China does lots of the former and little of the later.
