Thanks! You understood exactly what I was getting at. +rep. I really feel no need to clarify anything on this topic further, since Cool1g has done a brilliant job already. Hi Meanna. Yes, there are quite a few people who could in no way handle running their own business / working for themselves. Unfortunate but true, because I know a lot of these people don't enjoy their day jobs. Is it worth it? Yes, I think it most definitely is, for the right people. You're certainly right about all the stipulations (commitment, work, focus, the ungodly hours people like us tend to work, etc). To me though I enjoy all those things because they occur on my terms, not some "boss" or employer's. Obviously wasn't my aim to do so or I'd be pimping out my aff link. It's just a solid service. Thanks for playing though Don't be so negative. Stop thinking that anything in this business is impossible and start relying on yourself rather than the concept of luck.
The first way, which is freelancing, I think is the best option. Its easy and free to start making money from freelancing.
This (excellent) thread gave me an idea.. perhaps one person struggling to make 100 sites would be lost under the waves eventually. However... what about a team of people voluntarily working towards the goal and then once achieved, making their story known on the web? I'd probably visit that site! And in case I'm the first to propose this idea I hereby copyright the DailyGrandTeam since I can't copyright concepts. Would anyone actually want to try that?
Theoretically it looks good and achievable although not easy. Practically the development and management of 100 sites is a task by itself.
Very good advice, a lot of people dismiss content creation and services for making money online! Never underestimate your talents.
This has been a good discussion and illustrates there are many ways to make money online. It also points out that there are many different views on what works and what doesn't. What works well for some, may not work well for others.
I was thinking the same thing. When you say it out loud or tell someone about the shotgun method, it sounds easy but when you really get down into it, I think it will be a lot more difficult to setup and maintain. I'd say try making more money with fewer sites.
I really enjoy reading this thread. Lots of thing i can learn here. But from all of you who has experience in this what would be the best road to take for a newbies like me? shotgun approach got me thinking on it but im not sure if its a good approach for a newbies like me.
