I think even the renewal price is for 2 years. So its is not really inflated. But most importantly you are getting a free parking service for the domains that you have in mind but dont want to buy just yet, it is like a 2 year reservation for you. You can always pay and take them away.
If you really wanted the domains so bad then you should have just bought it. But why am I saying this, even one of my important domains is stuck now coz it was registered long back and still not showing in the domain manager. Only the .co.uk one is showin up which I dont even need.

Ya someone from another forum got an email saying they cant register because it's for UK only. Great! Since all the domains ive requested is showing up as registered from Whois search. It wouldve been better if they just reject our applications during Step 2.

I have received confirmation that my requested domain has been registered and a quick WHOIS confirms this. I have just pointed the domain to my server so hopefully it will be resolving soon.

May I just point out that I am from the UK and I ordered a single .co.uk domain. By the looks of things this offer is only available to applicants from the UK.

Has anyone from the UK had success ordering domain with a different TLD, for example .com?

lmao not a spammy site. It comes down to who register and if they are putting in the correct info on where the person lives. Even 1and1 did this when they gave 5 free .infos away. They let people register and try and claim the domains.(it was only good for US and Canada) But the person had to FAX or email proof of residence within a weeks time. Whereas Eclipse isnt. Possibly a fauxpa on their part.

i got my lot within a few hours they are now parked at sedo for the time being , i got 5 in my name and 5 in the wifes name all from the same pc and the same address , just put in a different busines name , so in total i got 9 .coms & 1 .co.uk , and five of the .coms were 4 letter ones aswell , even if you dont use them you have them for two years surelly you can make more than what it costs to transfer them by starting some new websites or even leave them for a while and then try to sell them , im gonna try to sell the 5 four letter .coms and hopefully make enough to pocket a few dollars and pay for the domains to be transered :)
