I'm intrigued. If you offer automatic/instant submission how are you also going to be human-edited/spam-free? Right now you have the opportunity to create a really useful resource for the web, or you could go the way of the rest of the directory owners and just create a low quality link farm. Your directory will grow, no matter what, but when you get 200 submissions per day, you really should only let the very best through because your resource will definitely get big fast and it would be much better keeping it smaller with great websites, and information, than a huge mess with tonnes of poor listings and spammy information. Once you pull the trigger and start adding everyone, it will be very difficult to change back. Just my 2c
