Hi, Please check out my blog at
http://cupertinolife.blogspot.com! I need your help! Click now!

I've tried to advertise my blog over local forums, and through word of mouth.

I got 114 impressions, and 4 clicks, which gave me $1.25!

I'm not too intrested in any illegal methods, or cheating methods... I'm curious,

How can I impression the number of click throughs, or the number of impressions?

I want more people to come, and I don't really know what to do next.

How come my paying varies per click?

You could try submitting your site to directories, or an adwords campaign to increase visitors.

I think I'm slowly making it my job to help people do what you're talking about! Perhaps that's where I'll make my millions. :)

Yes, add your blog to directories. I recently created a directory, and might I say, it is outstanding! ;)

    BlogFlare.com

There are similar sites, like BlogTopList.com and BlogTopSites.com that you can add it to as well.

Keep in mind, these are reciprocal link directories and require you to add little images to your blog. The trade-off is that you get ranked and it's easier to get traffic. If you don't want to do that, there are regular web directories you can add to as well.

Wouldn't you know it? I have one of those too!

Feel free to add your blog to DirYou.com.

If you want a list of free directories, check this post out:

Aside from that, I've written a couple of beginner guides to getting traffic and making money. You can check them out here:

Scott's Guide To Making Money Online

Scott's Guide To Getting Free Web Traffic

Hope these help! Let me know what you think.

You can PM me if you have any questions.

    Thanks!! :D

By the way, your paying varies per click because users click on different ads. From what I've learned, the first ad (ad on the left on horizontal ads or the top on a vertical ad) pays the most, and the next one pays less, etc.

Also it varies because people bid different amounts for those spots when they pay for advertising.

This is why people sometimes place single or double spaces for ads rather than the four you and I have going on. I think the trade-off is that people might click on them less because they're not as big but don't quote me on that, as I haven't tried it.

You may want to try the smaller ad size (and by smaller, I mean fewer ads per unit) to see if it helps. Who knows? You might lose some, you might gain some.

If it does work out, let me know! :D

Good job! Hope there is more to come! The reason behind why your payperclick varies is because they are different ads and different companies pay more!

Hey good work. Keep adding content and test other ad formats, different colors or placement. Make the colors of your ads correspond to your blog theme.
Put comments on blogs related to yours and invite them to visit your link. But don't spam.
