my highest rate was 1.90$ by 4 clicks

 

It's no so impressive, I have a small site right now (it's about money other people make) and here is this week:
monday, 3 clicks, $8.73
tuesday, 7 clicks, $1.98
wednesday, 2 clicks, $2.5
thursday, 3 clicks, $0.08 (it happens)
friday, 2 clicks, $4.5
saturday, 5 clicks, $1.92
sunday (today) 4 clicks, $3.63

 

Congratulations. I know how exciting it can be to pass that $1 mark for the first time.

 

This is a good news although the earning is not huge.
Keep generate more quality traffic to earn more

Well done you only need another 100 sites like that to make any money and survive.

When I first joined this forum I found that there were lots of people posting how good there earnings were. I even managed to get an $8 click on a parked page. I'm lucky if I now make that a week.

I have over 200 domains and I have found they are all crap. I think the only people who make the good money are the ones with great sites at the top of their niche. To start a site from scratch and get to the top takes a very long time.

I guess I must be doing this all wrong. problem is no one will tell you what niche they are in or how they make money. See things are so tight out there no one wants you to be their rival.

I have a few directories. They were doing really well. My plan was to get a load of them together and make money from ad sense and featured link sales. It worked for a while and to some degree still is. But where I was making about $100 / month at the start of the year I am now making about $20 / month if that.

I have some content sites. People just dont click on the ads. If they do I get paid about $0.01 per click, they aint going to feed me let alone my family. No one is spending the money at the moment.

All I say is good luck but dont give up your day job until you have multiple revenue streams. one day you can be making the money the next its all gone belly up.

 

good work. I remember my first $1 click and then my first $2 clicks.. now I get excited when I get $5 or $7 click.
Keep working, do research, don't share your niches.. and you will achieve a lot...

 

I got a 1.34$ click yesterday.... My highest was 2.45$ something I remember...

 

Why is everyone struggling so much to make money?
Its not rocket science, quit whining about nobody giving away their niches and go out and find one for yourself, its not that difficult. Its just a case of getting as much traffic as you can.

I used sitesell (http://buildit.sitesell.com) to find a niche, and host the site. The site has only been going since July 09 and I get about 50 c to $1 /day adsense, there is just about 30 pages of avg. 300 words. So about $180 worth of content if you paid someone to write it. I believe this is going to increase, and if you are interested in how I get on PM me in a couple of months time and remind me to post here!

The main thing I learned from sitesell was about keyword research. Do it! If you don't want to pay, you can use things like adwords external tool, googld trends etc. With sitesell there is a keyword research tool and step by step guide. I think it is based on wordtracker, so if you want a pure research tool without the hosting and other stuff you can use them.

The point is that keyword research, coupled with good SEO will get you a lot of free organic traffic, and in addition ensure that your adsense ads pay you well per click.
