Public Service Ads are being shown, that is not good.

I reccommend using my tutorial on adsense optimization (in my sig).

The ad placement is okay, but PSA's aren't helping you.

Registering is necessary. If you'd like, post a screen shot and I can comment.

hmm If you have more traffic, then yes it will generate some extra revenue. All depends on your site how good it is. Or just another MFA.

I also have a VB forum, and it quite problematic with adsense.
But I have found once a nice VB hack which make it easier to use:
    Here is my forum:

    Hey,

I got someone to quickly check if I can generate revenue from my site, so I told them they had to click my ad.

    They did

    And it's not working?

    It's showing public service ads.

You placed the ads in the right place. Try using brighter colors for higher CTR.

Set the outline color of your adsense ad to the color of your website's background (black/dark grey) so that you cannot see the outline. Consider making the color of your adsense links blue, because people naturally associate the color blue with links on the internet. Consider adding another adsense ad at the bottom of your webpage. Also, try using squares or rectangles for the adsense ads.
