Thought of purchasing MySpace bulletins? There are some important questions you need to ask to protect your own security and to make the most of your business. 1. What is the total unique friend count (FC) that the bulletins are being sent to? a. Is the person counting several accounts with overlapping friends as part of their FC, or is it unique friends only? b. Are the accounts likely to read the bulletin (for example, a lot of the lower IDs are inactive and auto-approve new adds, and therefore should not be counted). 2. Are the accounts compromised or genuine? a. In this age of myspace usage, it has become common for users to use compromised accounts in order to mass post bulletins. This can lead to your site being flagged as spam, and you getting barely any hits in return for your investment. Make sure to only buy bulletins from honest sources. If the user refuses to reveal at least one of his accounts privately, chances are he is misleading you. 3. Make sure to use a special tracking link to prove that the hits are indeed from myspace bulletin posting. Also, make sure that the format of the bulletin is agreed upon by both parties. a. This is just common sense. This protects you against false claims by users. b. As for bulletins, they should be able to provide you with a messageID= link for at least one of them which proves that the bulletin was indeed posted. 4. Are the bulletins sent to one account or to multiple accounts? a. Bulletins sent to a single account are generally less effective because there is a dynamically generated max limit to the number of users who can see a bulletin posted by one user. Generally, your best option is to choose a user who cross-posts to multiple accounts. 5. What time are the bulletins going to be sent out at? a. This is a determining factor in the output price, and also... b. Enables you to track the effectiveness of the bulletins at exactly that time. c. MySpace bulletins have a max effectiveness of 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, they are buried under a heap and no one reads them anymore. You should be able to determine whether or not your investment is valid within the first 15 minutes of when the bulletin posting cycle starts. 6. If the user cannot guarantee you a set number of hits, don't do it. a. Don't ask him to guarantee you something ridiculous. However, if he doesn't provide a number and at least one bulletin link, you have no proof that he posted the bulletin(s) at all. If you have other important things, please tack them onto this thread, but this should be a good guide for all beginners in the world of bulletin buying.
