First template ever what do you think?

Well I just started designing templates and this is my first one so far its not done i just want to know if im off to the right start and am looking for tips.

Theirs not much completed on it yet but this is it so far.

the transparent text is just to brand it for now.

Colors are ok. Your template is so empty. Try to add some dummy text and some images.

 

if you read my post its only like not even half of the way done

 

Everything's to big for my taste but it's a good start. It can always be tweaked as you already stated, it's still in early development.

 

ya and its only my first template how long does the average template take to make

 

Depends on the creator as well as his or her mind set. Some days you're more creative than other days and some days your stumped and can't complete anything to save your life.

Yes u r on right track keep going i like to see final output.
But.....
Adding more link images & dummy text its will look better

 

Colours look good but you need to add more stuff!

Add more graphics which realy hit you!

 

Alright while ill work on it a lot tonight adding some images a dummy text and show the outcome tomorrow

 

So far it looks good.

 

This really need more work.
