I created this site that complies CSS & Web Standards related news feeds from sources around the net. At first it just started out as something I was going to use myself but figure other people might like it. Also this is my first shot at a tabless design. http://www.dontmeetyourheroes.com/ If you have some time go digg it on digg.com http://digg.com/links/The_CSS_Web_Standards_News_Compilation
Rikcat, VERY nicely done. I like it AND I'll use it myself with your permission. I've not used zfeeder, but it's worth it just to use your layout (and experiment a little with feed aggregators etc). I'm always conscious of code to content ratios, and most of my sites use tableless designs for that very purpose (ie MSN responds quite well to this - well, did until last week..). Kudos for a job well done. You implied you wouldn't mind others using it.. may I ? Cheers, JL
You can use the layout...no prob...the code is totally seperate from the function of the zfeeder script. Also the page should be much speedier. There was a caching prob with the zfeeder script and i found a work around. I'm also gzipping the pages now so that increased speed as well
Very nicely done indeed....especially for your first CSS layout. Beats the heck out of my first CSS layout...and my second...and my third.
