I love Dani Johnson. I am planning on going to First Steps next year! I can't wait to go. Will this be your first time going or have you gone before? ~Love2Write~
Do you want to know the steps?? There are not many Hard Work...... Sleep 5 hours a day and work the rest..... When you're tired.... then work even more.... If you have a day off then work that day too.... Don't waste your money listening to other people telling you the things above in a cleverly disguised seminar.... If they we're making their money any other way than by selling seminars.... they would not be selling seminars.....
Sem-Advance, obviously you haven't been to danijohnson.com. I was gonna go this January, but my cousin is having her baby then. xD So I'm actually not going until February, which is kind of sad because it'll be my first and I don't want to keep putting it off.
Cool, let us know how it was. I absolutely love her audios and script book. The coolest thing about Dani is that she really stresses the need to build relationships and the importance of duplication. I think it really gives network marketing a bad name when people just keep signing other people up but never give them any clue what to do next so that they can actually get out there and start making some money. If more people listened to her free advice, there would be less people coming into N.M., failing miserably, and then quitting. What do you think? I bet all of you Dani fans out there are great sponsors. Sheree
Well actually I did visit her site and to be honest she is just one of many including myself who have been broke and managed to find success. Here is another http://www.suzeorman.com However in my eyes there are people who do this daily with humility.... The old saying is those who can.... do. those who cannot.... teach
Except that she can and she teaches because it's her passion. She doesn't want others to be poor or to fail miserably. And unlike Suzeorman, Dani isn't constantly shoving products in your face. But I'm not going to keep defending her to you -- if you don't like her, then that's fine. I'm doing better with recruiting to my business. So far I'm really just reading from her Script Book. I just ordered the Script Book Supplemental and I'm going to make a T-Shirt and some buttons to wear so people will approach me about it and I can get my product out there a little more.
I suppose she wants to make sure people are not poor but she could do that by contributing to charitable causes. Her first goal is to make sure she is not going to be poor. As far as driving traffic to your site wearing a T-shirt, I am not sure this is the best use of your time and energy... I am sure you have some beautiful clothes and jewelry....do people often stop you and ask about those items?? This is what is known as fishing....cast a line and hope you grab a bite..., You could advertise in better fashion perhaps placing signs around town how you can help people make money online with personal coaching. You could post on the supermarkets community board, libraries, beauty parlors etc....where ever you would find your target market in other words. Small ad in the local newspapers will work as well. You can also experiment with Pay Per Click campaigns but need to be sure to have help in that area or you could lose money. Good luck!
You seem convinced that she doesn't work. Has Dani wronged you in some way, or do you just like to be right online? People ask me about my things when they have URLs on them. I got a lot of compliments on my Trogdor shirt, and my other nerdy shirts. How would it be a waste of my time or energy? I wear a T-Shirt and I go about my daily business, how is that a 'waste'? Leafleting, aka hanging up fliers, is illegal where I live. I've already hung them up.
Nope don't know Dani and personally I have no need to be right.... Waste may have been a poor choice of words.... $ for $ you could generate more interested targeted traffic in better ways than wearing a T-shirt.... I also offered more than one way to market your business..... I'll leave you in peace as apparently you like the lack of free thought and opposing views in life.... Be well
I love Dani Johnson. I have the recording of her First Steps to Success from 2006 and will be attending the FSTS in Jan. I am really excited. I also just ordered the script book with CD's, and am listening, reading and absorbing and ready to put it all to use. Jessica
You're right, I hate people who talk. A LOT. I don't see why I can't market my business online and offline in numerous ways. It sounds like you're telling me NOT to wear a T-shirt because there are other ways to advertise. Why wouldn't I do both? I'm still waiting for the Supplemental =)
MiaKiru, Let me tell you something. You have the right to stick to your own beliefs and values. If you feel for yourself that by attending First Steps in learning from a true entrepreneur that knows what it takes to be successful, then there's no need to get into any kind of debate with someone that doesn't agree or hold your beliefs. That is why we are advised to stay from negative people and to surround yourself with people who are just like you or are following the same path as yourself. I personally love Dani's story and her willingness to assist others and creating a life that they deserve. She really doesn't have to do this, in fact she retired at some point and was approached many times to be a speaker and she finally decided to pursue it. What I also love also is her true passion in what she is doing, you can hear it in her voice... she has such a conviction that can not be faked. Unfortunately I will not be able to make her next first steps, but I sure will attend her event sometime next year! God bless and have a wonderful and prosperous 2008! ~Love2Write~
What exactly is wrong with doing AND teaching? She obviously did it and that's why she teaches as well. All she's doing is sharing her knowledge which is called giving back to the industry that allowed her to have so much success. There is nothing wrong with seminars. I believe that we should always continue to learn and better ourselves. It's just like going to college. When you go to college, you pay a lot of money to learn things and you aren't guaranteed to make any money once you're finished. It's all about what you get out of it and how open-minded you are.
