First Sale For My Own Product! 1:34

After testing the PPC for few days, sending 34 clicks to my product page, I finally made 1 sale! I'm so happy because this shows that my product does sell :)

I'm not sure whether the sale is from myself because it written "NO AFFILIATE" there. Since there is "no affiliate" and I link adwords directly to the product page, so I think the sale is come from my own traffic. Hope that someone can enlighten me about this.

I'll wait for few more sales before finalizing the PPC KW list to everyone. I'm totally new to PPC marketing, so I think when I release the KW list, someone should be able to help me to improve it :)

EDIT : may I know how can I track the conversion from adwords? Thank you.

I thought adwords didn't allow hoplinks, i'm still new to this, please explain.
I would love to send the traffic there as well but is that the right thing to do?

First of all, congratulations! Selling your own product is truely an exciting moment, and I wish many more of these for you.

Second, to do conversion tracking using Google, visit AdWords' Conversion Tracking link. It'll help you set this up easily.

Put the AdWords conversion tracking code into your "thank you" page. You definitely want to do that so you can see which keywords are making your sales... Great information to have.

    1. He is linking directly to his website since it's his own website. (Although I would actually recommend to him that he link to his own website through another affiliate account. This will keep his referred% high. Looks better in the ClickBank marketplace. It'll also help with Gravity.)

    2. Google only allows one ad that goes directly to any one site. So there's no rule against hoplinks. It's just that if someone else is already linking to that website then your hoplink ad won't show because it's linking to the same destination URL.

congratulations by the way! I use mostly CJ - but curious about ClickBank given the popularity on here...

CJ & Clickbank are entirely different beasts. I've actually struggled to ever make much money from CJ - I've done far better with ClickBank.

Hi, thank you very much and also a great thanks to Zibblu for answering some of the questions :)

About my CPC, because the campaign is still new, I set the max CPC as $0.50 to let adwords to get familiar with my campaign. I have not dropped the max CPC, but the average CPC has dropped from $0.48 to $0.35 today. I'll keep the campaign for another day and I will start dropping it from $0.50 to $0.45, $0.45 to $0.40... slowly till about $0.20.
