After 2 years of joining Amazon Associates (or maybe more?) I finally make my first sale from a new shop I made this month, www.badmintonshop.info 52 cents (from a third party sale), not much but first time always feels the greatest Still remember when I got my first AdSense cheque Just need to find a way to promote this shop more. If you haven't made any sales yet on your Amazon shop, don't give up!
Congratulations man! I know how you feel. If you want more traffic, then you have to write articles on free blog sites like wordpress.com, tumblr.com, squidoo, hubpages,.... and link it to your page, plus don't forget to social bookmarket every article you write.
Ah..thanks PixelHut. I guess I just have to be more active to promote the shop Well you set up like an online shop but all items, shipping, delivery,etc are from Amazon. You only set up a front end and make it as if it's a real online store. The checkout will be forwarded to Amazon though

I have ad amazon on my sites for a few months now. I get clicks but they never convert to a sale. The clicks total about 300. What is the clicks per sale ratio you have?
Congratz! I know how frustrating ads that bring in little money can be. Just keep it up, and it will eventually pay off
About 30-40 clicks (conversion 6.45%). I guess it depends.. if they know they are going to buy through Amazon when they clicked, you'll get a higher conversion
