I hereby move to remove the word "Brand" from the English Language, especially when used to denote food - formerly, simply, the stuff we ingest to nourish our body and warm our soul: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16873869/wid/11915773/ Right up there with Jennifer Aniston's "Here's your flair!" in Office Space. Thus endeth the rant. Any other words nominated for removal?
Yeah, "brand" is annoying when used like that. I'm pretty sick of hearing people refer to things as "robust" or "scalable". Idiots that refer to everything as "organic" annoy me too.
Any new technology from MS-Monopoly that starts with "Active-"... You know.... ActiveX Active Server Pages Active Directories Active Channel Technology Active Accessibility And the less spoken of, but more tangible: Active Lies Technology (a favorite of the marketing department) Active Attorney Technologies (a favorite of the legal department)
I hate when "great" is overused. Every player in the NFL is great, if he's featured on some spotlight that weekend. Drives me nuts. No one is ever good, very good, or anything. They are always great! Tony the tiger writes the scripts, apparently.
Ah, you know what else I hate- "All Time Best <whatever> Lists" Why does everything, every player, every song, etc. have to be rated or ranked!? F!!!
