Somehow my site came on the first page at Reddit.com. The traffic is massive, also and earnings. So far for today the earnings are more than $50. I used to make that amount a year ago, but then I’ve redesign my site and for 5-6 months I’m making about $5-6 perday. Can Google disable my account because of this?
no they won't because u aren't getting any autosurf traffic.. U are just getting the original traffic..
You're getting genuine, targeted traffic, that's exactly the kind of traffic they want all sites to have. If you're worried, you can always let them know that you're suddenly getting this boom traffic-wise because your site's on Reddit's first page. I'm sure they'll tell you there's nothing to worry about. At this point if I were you, I'd just worry more on how to maintain that traffic.
Dude this is not bad this is AMAZING. Google will never ban someone for something like this. Keep it up!
why? are you doing something blackhat? if not why? Its like if you are earning big bucks in real life offline, are you gonna tell the cops about your HUGE earnings if everything is done legit?
As I wrote, most (95%) of the traffic today is from Reddit. I'm not doing blackhat. I'm surprised (and a little worried) because the amount of traffic and earnings. I'm with adsense for 4.5 years and never done anything against the rules. Thanks for your replies.
google has more detailed traffic stats then you probably do. don't pester them for such issues. google knows where all your clicks are coming from anyway...
Worry more about how you're going to stay top of Reddit and how to do the same on google. I make a good amount from articles with adsense. If an article tops google search for its most obvious keywords and has high traffic it doesn't necessarily mean that it make much from adsense. Obscure articles - with no ranking on google can make more...
Thats the kind of traffic everyone wants and google would like to see sites get so def no worries , congrats on the big boost !
I heard a story, not too long ago, about someone who got their adsense account disabled because they hit the front page of digg, reddit, slashdot, and a few of the other social bookmarking/news sites. In the end, the account ended up being reinstated, but it was such a massive spike in traffic from their usual that it brought attention to their account. This is probably an automatic detection thing on googles side. Since your page just hit reddit, I wouldn't worry about it. They can see that the traffic coming to it is legit.
I think it is a fair play. The traffic from first page at Reddit.com is quality traffic. I believe you are very suspicious since you are always worrying whether the Planet Earth is still rotating around the Sun? LOL.
Yeah I think adsense click fraud detection systems should be intelligent enough in this aspect because all the clicks are coming from unique IPs from different geographical areas. But who knows, even a bot could simulate ths activity. But is the adsense team accessible and responsive to your support queries? I thoght google has a track record of being unable to reach for customer service purpose.
Don't worry about the traffic as it's genuine. When you redesigned your site, was it completely different to what it was before? In terms of title, keyword, description and H1 tags and body content? Or was it just navigation changes?
